The Business from Scalable Content training in Oulu in autumn 2024 perfectly addressed the needs of gaming, music, and audiovisual media industries seeking new ways to grow and scale. This five-session program brought together the industry’s top experts and provided participants with concrete tools and inspiring perspectives.

Media Minds was responsible for designing the training, coordinating experts, and facilitating the program. The coaching featured industry top experts alongside Minds facilitators who ensured smooth program delivery. Audiovisual industry veteran Petri Kemppinen offered participants practical tips on securing international funding and scaling content, while illuminating the latest business trends. Screenwriter and author Matti Laine guided participants through the world of artist entrepreneurship, focusing on brand building and balancing art with sales. Game development expert Jonne Taivassalo deepened participants’ understanding of gaming business fundamentals and provided concrete tools for emerging game companies. Fried Music CEO and music export veteran Riku Salomaa shared insights into industry revenue streams and trends, focusing on areas such as composition and master rights management and publishing opportunities. Finally, Juha Ponteva, a multidisciplinary professional in audiovisual and creative industries, examined opportunities offered by new technologies and cross-sector collaboration in content development and scalability.
